The preliminary rounds of the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship have been completed with four teams securing passage into the semi finals.
The semi final and final games will be played on January 7 at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra where debutants Accra Wesley Girls High Schol and Kumasi Girls’ High School will look to continue their wonderful run in the tournament.
Both teams qualify alongside mainstays Aggrey Memorial Mount Zion School and defending champions T.I.AMASS at the expense of highly rated contenders St.Mary’s, Mfantsiman Girls’ and Tema Senior High School.
There will also be a celebrity All-Star game where showbiz icons Edem, Zeal of VVIP, Skrewface, Wanlov Kuborlor,Jayso, D. Cryme and Rashid Mettal will join former standouts of the Sprite Ball Championship including John Teye Okumoh and Sedem Tettevi from Keta Senior High School and Pious Zigah formerly of Armed Forces Senior High School.
