koforidua Secondary Technical School begun their trophy quest a dominant display of finesse basketball to hand an 18-1 beat down of Accra Academy in its opening game at the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship.
Coached by experienced and enthusiastic head Eric Simon Larbi, the “SECTECHANS” sent out a strong message to the rest of the field particularly their much anticipated matchup against defending Champions Mfantsipim School.
In Group B Prempeh College beat Adisadel College from Central Region 23-17 in a repeat of last year’s fixture where both teams were pitted in the same group.
Prempeh’s game was one of the most anticipated because of the familiarity both teams have with each other and both teams didn’t disappoint as they entertained a packed El-Wak Stadium with great basketball.
