Prempeh College basketball team head coach Frank ‘Agoro Nana’ Agyei is strongly upbeat about his school’s chances on winning the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship.
The charismatic coach made the bold declaration when contacted by Basketballghana.com on New Year’s eve.
“We are coming into the competition with one aim to win the championship”. “We are going to play everybody and beat everybody at the championship” he said.
“My focus is on my team to make sure I prepare a good team to come to Accra and beat everybody” he responded when asked about his group opponents”.
He continued, ” The performance of my boys gives me hope that we can do something special this year”.
Prempeh College will play against Pope John Senior High School and Junior Seminary, Adisadel College and St. John’s School in Group B.
The 2016 Sprite Ball Championship will take place between January 3-7 at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra.
