spritelogoThree-time silver medalist Opoku Ware School will on Tuesday December 29 play a friendly game against Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s male basketball team.

The game which is set for 15:00 GMT tip off will be the school’s second friendly as it prepares for the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship games which is set to take place between January 5-7 at El-Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

In the first friendly against Patase Invaders, Opoku Ware inflicted a comprehensive 84-58 defeat on the local side. The team will be on the lookout for another victory as they fine tune their skill ahead of the championship.

Opoku Ware’s team has been in a residential camp since December 19th where players have been taken through conditioning and tactical drills.

OWASS have been drawn in Group C alongside debutants Aggrey Memorial Mount Zion School, St.Thomas Aquinas Senior High School and Ghana Secondary Technical School.
