The draw for the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship was held on Sunday December 27 on TV3’s ‘Fast Break’ with defending champions Mfantsipim and two time first runners up Aggrey Memorial Mount Zion Senior High School getting drawn in groups of death.
Mfantsipim School was drawn in the boys’ division Group A alongside Volta Region champions Mawuli Senior High School, former silver medallist Koforidua Secondary Technical School and Accra Academy.
Former champions Aggrey Memorial female basketball team was drawn in Group A in the ladies division alongside one time winner St. Mary’s Senior High School and Shama Senior High School.
The draw was conducted by Host Yaw Sakyi Afari and assisted by Ghana Basketball Association Chairman David Addo Ashong,.
