ksts 22Koforidua Secondary Technical School Physical Education Chief Mr. Eric Simon Larbi is enthusiastic about his team’s imminent apearance in Sprite Ball.

The affable and experienced instructor made the call when the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour entourage made a stop at the school during the Eastern Region leg of the tour.

Mr. Larbi reveled in seeing his team contend for one West Africa’s most coveted basketball trophies stating it was “another exciting opportunity”. The championship is set to take place between January 3-7, 2016 at El-Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

“KSTS stands for excellence and we will strive to achieve the ultimate. We have a crop of talented players who are anxious to make a name for themselves” he said.

The 2009 silver medalist will represent the Eastern Region in the boys division with Pope John Senior High School and Junior Seminary. Nkawkaw Senior High School will represent the region in the girls’ division.

Sprite Ball Championship is an annual inter-High Schools basketball tournament in Ghana has contributed immensely in unearthing talents and developing existing ones in Ghana.
