Accra Wesley Girls’ Senior High School will fly high in next year’s Sprite Ball Championship according to headmistress Rev. Mrs. Jane Dor.
The affable leader made the comments when her school hosted the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour entourage during the Greater Accra Region leg of the tour.
The 2016 Sprite Ball Championship will take place between January 3-7 at El-Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra and is set to feature 26 schools compete against each other in boys’ and girls’ categories respectively.
Mrs. Dor expressed her extreme delight in seeing her school qualify for the first time to fight for one of West Africa’s most coveted trophies.
“We are flying jets and we can jump as high as the mountain” she said.
Accra Wesley Girls’, Tema Senior High School and St. Mary’s Senior High School will represent Greater Accra Region in the female division.
Accra Academy, St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School and Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (Legon) will represent the region in the male division.
