However, Ashaiman’s top marksman got into foul trouble early in the semifinal game against Tema Sharks and had sit for extended periods. Ultimately, he fouled out leaving his teammates to see out an entertaining overtime win.

In the final game against Osu Hawks, Elvis managed just three points as he went of 8 from deep.

Teshie nwJoseph Boye

The Teshie Lions Center was utterly dominant through the preliminary games but his team’s inability to qualify for the final four ruined his chances of securing the top award.

In just four games, he averaged 20.5 points and 13.5 rebounds to emerge as the top scorer and top rebounder in the competition.

Best Coach

DSC_4810 (1)Daniel Sowah of the all-conquering Osu Hawks is the overwhelming choice for the award. Coach Sowah does not gain this prestigious accolade for leading his team to a trophy but his disciplined and comprehensive detailed pre- game preparations made him stand out from a field that included 2015 Coach of the Year Brimah Lawal.

Best Dunk

Teshie Lion’s Joseph Boye handed the Ashaiman Tigers a dose of his incredible athletic body. With Teshie looking to shred Ashaiman’s lead, Boye grabbed a long rebound to score a put back and send fans scurrying from their seats.

The Osu Hawks was handed this award for its remarkable approach to dealing with controversial calls from referees. Team members did not nag about calls nor did they throw tantrums when things weren’t going their way. Kudos to Osu for playing basketball the right way.

Most Indisciplined Team

Tudu 99Tudu Warriors

This team had everything you wouldn’t want in your team. Players complained constantly, they got involved in needless dust ups with opposing players and showed gross disrespect to officials anytime they were on court. Fans also lacked control as they consistently disrupted games by throwing foreign objects unto the court.

Worst Team

DWThe Dansoman Wolves woeful and abyssmal record of losing all four game with a staggering point differential of -82 put them dead last on the overall ranking with just four points.

This team was so bad they were down 14-45 at half time aginst the Tema Sharks.
