temaTema Senior High School currently leads polls to select a female school for Sprite Ball next year.

The school as at the time of writing has over taken Labone Senior High School to play in one of the biggest basketball tournament in West Africa.

Tema has 1,114 votes representing 80% with Labone checking in at the second position having amassed 240 votes representing 17%.
Kumasi Anglican School rank last on the list with just 36 votes representing 3%.

In the boys’ category, Keta Senior High School holds the upper hand in a two race with Adisadel College. The 2014 champions have 14,060 votes representing 48% which puts them ahead of Adisadel’s 11,271 votes.

2014 semi finalists Bompeh Senior High School are third with 3,767 votes. The school Ghana’s Western regional capital Takoradi, are ahead of Kumasi Anglican Senior High School and Achimota College.

The 2016 Sprite Ball Championship will be staged between January 3-7 at the El-Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra and will feature 26 schools.
