Zenith University College produced a stunning display to thrash Marshalls University College 43-15 in their warm-up game over the weekend.
Seven institutions participated in the warm-up game to test their readiness ahead of the start of the 2015 UPAC Championship which starts on March 14.
The one-day event attracted a decent crowd to the venue with teams showcasing their potential ahead of the real deal.
The championship brought the best out of the players with Zenith University College and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) displaying a real intent of making a significant impact this season.
Host the University of Professional Studies narrowly beat Ghana Telecomm University College 20-18 while GIMPA accounted for Wisconsin University College 24-15.
Pentecost University College lost 10-19 to Ghana Telecomm University College in a massive friendly exercise.
The 2015 UPAC Basketball Championship is shaping up with the best players looking to lead their teams to glory.
Expect more close and eagerly contested battles at the sharp end of campaign which starts from March 14 to April 25.
Meanwhile the journey to the famous title however begins on Saturday March 7 with eight institutions in the Accra zone slugging it out in the warm-up games at the University of Professional Studies court.
