Mfantsipim point guard Daniel Owusu and younger sister Joana Danso are among individuals who will travel to South Africa following their respective roles in the 2015 Sprite Ball finals.

Owusu, captain of Mfantsipim and Aggrey Memorial’s influential leader Joana Danso, born to Alex Numewu and Grace Okra, are earning rave reviews in the West African country.

When talking about the two siblings, the term all in the family comes to mind, with the subject of basketball being the topic.

While Owusu guided Mfantsipim to record a fourth national title, Danso was voted the Most Valuable Player after helping Aggrey Memorial to clinch silver.

By virtue of being the captain of the team, Owusu will travel alongside his youngster sister to Johannesburg in March as part of their package for winning the ultimate diadem.

Basketball certainly runs in the family with these two siblings spearheading their basketball ambitions.

I think hoops is doing a great job in the Central region with these upcoming basketballers.Iv happened to encounter a few of them and to the best of my knowledge they are a true epitom of greatness.U guys shld keep supporting them nd i know very soon we would be hearing other great news just like Daniel and Joana
