Bompeh’s fairly tale story continues at the El-Wak stadium after beating last year’s losing finalist Presec-Legon to advance to the semi-finals of the ongoing 2015 Sprite Ball Championship.
The Western regional-based side are turning out to be the surprise package at this year’s championship with a rehearsed strategy to beat their highly-fancied opponent.
Inspired by influential Christopher Appiah, Bompeh is looking like the team to beat at the moment with a shocking smooth run at the El-Wak stadium.
They recorded another famous 39-34 win to progress to the last four.
In the opening quarter-final game, defending champions Ketasco produced an improved display to beat Adisadel College 34-29 to advance to the semi-finals of the competition.
Ketasco will meet the winner of Ashanti regional rivals Opoku Ware School and Prempeh College while Bompeh will set up a date with either Mfantsipim or Pope John.
