The teams arrived at the games village in Accra for the 2015 Sprite Ball Championship on Wednesday amid huge expectations.
Sogakope Senior High were the first to arrive at the games village at Liman Hall, University of Ghana brimmed with confidence to cause a stir in their debut appearance.
They were followed by their Volta regional-based school Awudome and defending boys champions Keta Senior High.
The rest of the teams followed with Mfantsipim being the last to arrive at 18:20 GMT.
The venue was awashed with the usual buzz that characterizes the arrivals of teams with many of the participating teams exchanging warmth and pleasantries.
Officials and players were excited to see each other as they get ready for battle on Friday and Saturday at the El-stadium.
There was a roll-call of all the teams with 16 boys and 8 girls schools present at the Liman Hall.
The players retired to their rooms after a brief speech delivered by Chief Executive of Rite Multimedia, Yaw Sakyi Afari.
The players entertain themselves with some ‘azonto’ dance moves before they retired to the rooms at 9 ahead of Thursday’s engagements.
The team will visit four selected orphanages in the capital- Teshie, Osu, Dzorwulu Special School and Remar International, located at Dansoman to interact with the kids and make donations on Thursday morning.
They will converge at the Accra Mall later in the afternoon before they head to TV3 for the LIVE opening ceremony scheduled for 5pm (local time).
In attendance will be the CEO of TV3 Augustine Dickson, Senior Marketing Manager of Coca-Cola, Mrs. Linda Larbi, boxing legend Azumah Nelson, business magnate Kennedy Agyapong, chairman of the Ghana Basketball Association, David Addo-Ashong amongst other high ranking officials.
