The Toronto Raptors continued their impressive start to the season on Saturday, Philadelphia remained the only winless team and Anthony Davis set a personal record.
Raptor Mou Williams poured in a game-high 36 points, dropping the Cleveland Cavaliers’ fourth straight defeat, prompting LeBron James to describe his team as “fragile,” following a 110-93 home defeat.
The Canadian franchise cemented its Eastern Conference lead with a 11-2 lead as a result of its fourth consecutive win, while the Cavaliers are yet to reach their title contenders’ credentials.
“We’re a very fragile team right now, we were a fragile team from the beginning,” James told reporters after the game.
The Cavaliers, tipped as the No 1 team in the East, early in the season, are far from convincing even though displaying All-Stars caliber players such as Kevin, Kyrie Irving and James.
“I’m very positive, more positive than I thought I’d be right now. It’s still too early for me. … I can’t be negative at all,” James added.
