An Amazing educational scholarship awaits participants of the 2014 Ghana Basketball and Leadership Camp in Cape Coast.

Participants numbering about 100 (boys and girls) will converge at the Adisadel College from Sunday August 17- Sunday August 24 for the one-week explosive exercise.

The intensive and rigorous exercise will offer the platform for budding talents to be identified for an educational opportunities home and abroad.

The buzz surrounding the second edition of the camp has been phenomenal with mad rush for forms from interested players who are desirous of learning the fundamentals of the fast growing sports in Ghana while standing the chance of gaining an educational scholarship.

The Ghana Basketball and Leadership Camp is an avenue to tap and hone talents while given them the opportunity to socialize with people from different background.

The maiden edition of the event which took place at Penfield School at Oyarifa in Accra attracted over 50 participants and became an exciting learning ground for the players.

An elated 11-year-old kid Bernard Danso, who participated in the maiden edition of the camp, has been sharing his experiences.

“The memories still linger because it’s an unforgettable experience for me,” he said

“I learnt a lot from the coaches and my senior campers. I was the youngest among them but they treated me very well.

“We train, laughed, ate and did everything together. It’s an experience I want to feel again this year.

“Most of them tell me they will be staging a return and so I am hoping to see all of them after a year.

“We had a nice time and I can’t wait to be part of that exercise again.

The 2014 Ghana Basketball and Leadership Camp has become an important part of the basketball calendar in Ghana and will set Cape Coast ablaze.

Participants will also travel to very interesting and exciting tourist places in Cape Coast including the Castle and Kakum National Park amongst others.

The camp is opened to kids between 10-19 and powered by Rite Multimedia – leaders in basketball development and promotion in Ghana.

  1. Am 16years old boy and i have a passion for playing basketball and i will also like to join the training, but my parent don’t want to support me, so what can i do?
