Players and officials of the victorious 2014 Sprite Ball Championship will leave for South Africa on August 24, BASKTETBALLghana.com can confirm.
The team numbering 12 will fly out to Johannesburg on a tour as part of their package for winning the 2014 edition of the prestigious tournament.
The MVP of the tournament in both the male and female category Sedem Tetevi and Joana Danso are among the key players who will make the trip.
The coaches of the two winning teams Keta Senior High and Kumasi-based TI Ahmadiyya (Real Amass) will also fly to the South Africa along some selected players from the winning schools.
The rewarding package is being paid for by Coca Cola with its brand name Sprite in fulfillment of their pledge to give the players and official an international exposure.
The team will visit some interesting places in South Africa including the famous Nelson Mandela square, Lions Park and spend time around Sandton Mall.
The team will also travel to Soweto and neighbouring communities to appreciate South Africa rich history.
They will also visit a High School in South Africa and engage them in 3×3 exhibition games.
The team will spend five days before returning to Ghana on August 29.
