Tema Youth, CEPS continue fine run in Accra series

Tema Youth produced a staggering display to beat Panthers 65-56 in another engrossing contest in the Greater Accra series.

It was another vintage performance from Emmanuel Quaye’s men as the dashed to another routine victory in the title chase.

Youth have responded positively since they lost to CEPS two weeks ago after recording two-straights win in their last games.

Panthers led the opening minutes of the game, but when Tema Youth took over late in the first quarter, they never trailed again and went on to steal a third straight win over their opponent.

In other games in the Seniors’ championship, champions Braves of CEPS continue their impressive performance with a habitual win over Holy Family.

It was business as usual for the reigning masters as they strolled to a comfortable 77-36 win over their opponents at the Aviation Social Centre.

Baniba Dodzie and Hashim Brimah were at their outmost best as they powered the side to yet another victory to maintain their 100% record in the Greater Accra series.

Tudu Magic continued their fairly tale in the competition after coasting to a 79-65 win over Prisons in the opening game.

In the men’s lower division, Adenta Leopards grabbed victory off the feet of Tudu Galaxy after beating them 53-44 at the Prisons court.

Teshie Rangers fell 38-15 to Air Force before Maamobi Warriors accounted for Adabraka CYO 25-19.

Dansoman Dynamics finally got some respite after beating Maamobi OSK 31-20 in another cagey encounter.

In the Women’s Division, Cynthia Sosavi inspired Ghana Navy to a crucial 52-48 win over Ghana Air Force.

Braves of CEPS managed a close 48-44 win over Tudu Galaxy before Prisons produced a masterstroke to wallop Fire Service 46-20.
