CEPS recorded a routine 74-52 win over rivals Tema Youth in the Super clash over the weekend.
The defending champions simply out-played their opponent and dished out another win over their sworn-rivals at the Aviation Social Centre. For CEPS, another title is already in the bag after the win over the Tema-based side.
Parading as usual an experienced stock, Brimah Lawah’s men were the superior side on the day with swash-buckling display to the delight of fans gathered at the venue.
Tema Youth coach Emmanuel Quaye had hoped for a win over their rivals to serve as real boost to the side but once again failed to pick maximum point and win the bragging right.
The defeat amplifies the believe that they will continue to live in the shadows of CEPS for many, many years to come. Reality has dawn on them that they must work their sucks off if they are to find the magic to beat CEPS this term.
In another game played on Saturday, Panthers recorded a narrow 53-50 win over Holy Family. Panthers needed a last gasp speed and precision to outdo their opponent and ensure the bag maximum points in the senior’s men championship.
