The 2014 Greater Accra season is set to open on April 24 with CEPS aiming for a historic and unprecedented 15-League triumph in a row.
Tema Youth, Hoops, Fire Service, Prisons, Police and Magic will all be gunning for gold in a hugely-awaited season this year.
The battle lines have been drawn with excitement surrounding the season already growing at an appreciable level.
The official kick off will take place at the Lebanon court in Accra and will begin its celebration of the biggest League system in the West African country.
The draw reflect the Association’s commitment of using the championship to show men and women all over Ghana that basketball can help them to become strong and successful people.
Integral to these efforts is the Greater Accra League quota which pits the best among emerging teams in the country.
“It’s a special moment for us that finally the League will start next month. It’s been months of painstaking deliberations,” Greater Accra basketball chief Benjamin Baafi said in February.
“We want to build a legacy for the League and ensure we expand its frontiers by given the chance to up-and-coming coaches.
