A little over a year ago, CEPS coach Brimah Lawah, added to his rich resume with a stunning 14-record winning title.
The reigning champions have an opportunity to defend their coveted crown and deliver the alluring and potentially outstanding prospect of back-to-back titles.
CEPS will contest yet another Greater Accra Basketball series expected to tee off on March 7 in Accra.
The season’s Greater is expected to be mouth-watering with most of the productive stars in top shape ahead of the start of the championship.
“It’s yet another season for us. We are mentally and physically prepared for the championship,” he said
“We have won it 14-times in a row and so naturally you’ll expect other teams to come at us with new zeal and determination.
“But we have been in such a situation before and we always surmount the challenge. We’re in it again and we shall conquer.
“We are fresh from our victory in the West African top-eight championship held in Benin and so we’re very much ready for the challenge ahead.
“Many of the teams will certainly be out to win and looking to avenge the defeat from the previous years.
He added: “I think that the key is to win the first match, to make sure that the series returns home to us again.
“We will be playing against some physical teams must step forward as usual in terms of responsibility, but we will need performances from our top players too.”
The title will be decided over the next three months.
