This year’s Sprite Ball Championship will witness yet another ground-breaking format with an official opening ceremony expected to take place at the studios of TV3 on Thursday January 9.
All twenty-four (24) participating schools will converge at the studios of TV3 for the ground-breaking ceremony which will usher in the 2014 Sprite Ball Championship.
The ceremony will also see the unveiling of the giant trophy with players and officials expected to receive motivational messages from accomplished personalities.
Two –time WBC Super Featherweight champion Professor Azumah Nelson as well as the chairman of the Ghana Basketball Association David Addo-Ashong will be in attendance.
Also in attendance will be officials of the Ghana Education Service as well as officials of the Ghana Basketball Association.
The draw for the prestigious championship was held last Monday on Sports station which threw up some interesting and intriguing fixtures in both the boys and girls division.
