The 2013 Africa Champions Cup elimination for FIBA Africa Zone-3 countries will be stage in Monrovia, Liberia between October 7 through 15 in the men and women categories.
The qualifiers will feature eight teams in the men category and four in the women from various countries in the zone and Sierra Lone.
For the men clubs, host Liberia will feature two teams NPA Pythons and LPRC Oilers. Other men teams are Kano Pillars and Union Bank basketball clubs (Nigeria); CEPS Braves (Ghana); AS Sonabhy and Rail basketball clubs from Burkina Faso and Young Sportman Club from Sierra Lone with Cote d’Ivoire Abidjan Sports Club (ABC) yet to confirm it participation.
The Women teams include K-Delta basketball club, Liberia; First Deepwater and Dolphins basketball clubs of Nigeria and AS Sonabhy of Burkina Faso.
Two teams each will qualify for the final round of the men and women champions club with the women slated for Morocco while venue for that of the men is yet to be decided
