CEPS continued their build-up to this year’s African Senior Club Championship with impressive victories against Togolese side Swallows last weekend.
The Ghanaian side played two games against the side and came out victorious at their own backyard.
Parading seasoned players, CEPS beat their Togolese counterpart 78-54 in their opening game before accounting for them 77-56 in the second game.
CEPS boast of an impressive array of stars including current national best player Baniba Dodzi, second best Hashim Brimah as well as Patrick Gamali, Kofi Essilfie, Daniel Aryee, Suka Muntari, Saddick Frank and Nii Quartey Kotey amongst others.
Coach Brimah Lawah used the international friendly to trim the rough edges of his team ahead of the African Seniors Club Championship in Liberia’s capital of Monrovia.
The team will move into non-residential camping on Monday to continue preparations for the tournament which kick starts on October 5-17.
