Ghanaian point guard Antwi Atuahene has joined Canadian side London Lightning, BASKETBALLghana.com can reveal.
The 29-year-old joins from Arizona State where he featured prominently for the side.
In the NBL Canada games he had 4.5 ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.6apg.
He helped them to win the league title. He had an impressive season as he was named in the NBL Canada All-Star Game. Part of previous (2011-12) season Atuahene spent at Mississauga Power (previous name Oshawa Power). He also played at Beltway in U.S. semi-pro league APBL that season.
Atuahene was voted Arizona State University New Comer of the Year back in 2005 at his college time.
Atuahene has played also professionally in Mexico (Leones Regios de Monterrey).
He attended Arizona State until 2008 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
