For a player who has been consistent for Braves in the Greater Accra Basketball series for over five years, it was clearly a vindication of his excellent performance which saw him soar above his colleagues.
He found a way to be at his absolute best in the series where he helped CEPS once again underline the status as the most powerful basketball team in Ghana, winning the title for a record 10th time in a row.
He was again the main architect for Accra Polytechnic as they strolled to success in the 2012 Ghana Polytechnic Games in Sekondi-Takoradi.
He controlled everything down the stretch; both CEPS and the capital-based Polytechnic won titles last year.
Dodzi’s final numbers spoke for himself with an incredible three-pointer points that secured huge laurels for his team.
He is now itching closer to be counted among the all-time greats in Ghana and probably needs a few more years to really cement his place.
Despite the challenge presented by his teammate Hashim Brimah, Police’s Emmanuel Dickson and Cyril Clarke of Tema Youth, he was good enough to mask any problem.
His performance for CEPS earned him admission at Accra Polytechnic and he never disappointed with a fluid and attacking flair that has got him many admirers both on and off the court.
He is simply the best in Ghana at the moment and those on the chasing park must work harder to dislodge the chief snipper.
