Champions Accra Polytechnic have just annihilated their counterpart from Cape Coast, brushing them side 129 -15 in a one sided contest on Tuesday.
The capital-based were too good and hot to handle as they romped to the heavy win the centre court of the Takoradi Polytechnic in the Western Region.
Once again it was their star sniper Kofi Asirifi who stole the show with over 40-points game in that big win.
The Custom Excise and Preventive Service point guard combined effectively with his teammate Daniel Nii Aryee as they brushed side the Cape Coast based school.
The heavy win will surely spark talk of Accra Polytechnics retaining the crown they won two years ago.
The participating schools will be using the games as a dress rehearsal for the hugely popular UPAC games later this year.
