SONY DSCSt Mary’s power forward, Mary Ama Serwaa Michtual, has confirmed to BASKETBALLghana.com she’s been approached by Wesley Girls High School to switch camp.

The 15-year-old is being courted by the Cape Coast-based school after her imperious performance at the recently concluded Sprite Basketball Championship.

She was simply unstoppable with sweet-flowing and attacking flair that got many fans to take notice.

BASKETABALLghana.com revealed last week officials of Wesley Girls had made initial contact with the player over the possibility of joining them.

The forward has confirmed she has been approached but yet to decide on her long-term future.

“Yes some officials spoke to me about that possibility. But I have not decided yet,” Mitchual said

“I will need to do some form of consultation before deciding whether to join them or not.

“St Mary’s is a great school and they offered me the platform and so it’s going to be  very difficult to leave here.

“However you never know what can happen in the days ahead. We just have to wait and see how it goes.”

If the deal is concretized, it would be an unforeseen twist that could thrust Wesley Girls straight back into title contention for next year’s competition.

Her skills, dexterity, stamina, and game-changer attitude could prove the catalyst for Wesley Girls to be champions again.

But, of course, that will hinge on the deal being sealed.
