Champions Mfantsipim have produced the highest score in the ongoing Sprite Ball Championship after a resounding 56-23 victory over Tema Senior High.
The defending champions are becoming too hot to handle at the El-Wak Stadium with some fantastic power-play that has left many of their opponents to scratch their head for answers.
Their captain Julian Moore was the star man for the side as he combined effectively to hand the big win over their opponent.
Despite the heavy defeat, Temasco were never disgraced as they exhibited fine performances that got them many admirers.
Indeed they took the game to their opponent who looked jittery and ill-prepared for the contest.
The Tema-based side took an early lead in the first half – leaving many to wonder whether they were the team who could stop the champions.
But they fluffed their lines and allowed Mfantsipim into the game and by the time they had their rhythm back, it was home and dry for the twice-national champions.
Mfantsipim’s next game is a dicey one against Akwamuman while Temasco will face Ketabusco in a face-saving contest.
