CEPS put up a crowd-pulling performance to dismantle Magic 112-43 in the second group B game of the 2012 Cabalan Thomme championship on Monday.
The resounding victory was the highest scoreline recorded by any side since the tournament started on October 22.
It signaled CEPS resolve to win back the title they lost to Tema Youth two years ago at the Lebanon court in Accra
Parading the best players in the capital including Dodzie and Douglas, Custom Excise and Preventive Services looked too strong for their opponent, leaving coach Francis Wilson with more questions than answers.
CEPS star man and snipper Dodzie, has developed a reputation as being a fierce, no-nonsense forward when playing for his side.
The fiery character of Dodzie was on full display for CEPS as he bagged incredible 40-points with 16 rebounds in their triumph over the sorry-looking Magic in front of their home fans.
CEPS ‘ slow start incensed the Accra Polytechnic graduate that he let fly with a verbal rant during a timeout to fire up the team and he then proceeded to play so well himself that he captured the imagination of many presents.
“I think every coach in this competition would love Dodzie to be in his team,” CEPS coast Braimah Lawah said
“He dominates the game in terms of physicality; he’s extraordinary quick for a big guy.
“I believe with him in fine form, we will win this crown.
CEPS have already beaten Warriors and will next tackle Reformers on Wednesday.
