Burma camp continued their astonishing performance in the ongoing Indomie Community Dunks by beating Nima Maamobi- 56-32 to earn a semi-final berth.

Emmanuel Grunjah has 15 points and was clutch in the fourth quarter as their opponent looked on dejected and out of sort.

The diminutive and shy-looking Maamobi side moved the ball around the next trip down the floor but lack of vision saw most of their attempt rimmed out.

Burma camp were spot on rebounds with Divine Adzakpo, Bright Zoranu and Hamza Usman displaying sheer bravado and amazing maturity to kill off the resilience of the host team.

In the other game in the group, Cantonment picked maximum points from their last two games with a well-worked victory over rivals Ridge at the CYCC basketball court in Accra.

The 2009 winners were however made to sweat for the points against Ridge by winning 18-16 in a close contest to condemn Ridge to their second successive defeat.

Elsewhere, Dansoman also kept their ambitions alive with victory over Adabraka.

Coach Ferranyi Olulonyo’s young side saw of the challenge of the debutant by winning 35-17 while James Town recovered from their opening day defeat to beat Labadi 16-13.

The victory by James Town has opened the group wide with both Labadi and James Town in with a realistic chance of qualifying to the semi-finals.

James Town will probably have a relative easy work to do when they tackle whipping boys Adabraka in the final group game on August 18 while Labadi must beat Dansoman to keep their ambitions intact.
