Basketball fans in Kumasi are expected to witness a mega feast when the hugely popular Indomie Community Dunks competition rolls out next month.

For the first time in the competition, the Indomie Community Dunks will be played in the Garden City with massive expectations.

The fever has suddenly spread like wild fire with talented ballers eager to represent their community and earn a slot in the finals in Accra.

There have been lot of talks about season-4 of the competition which is designed exclusively for players below the ages of 15 and it felt they might never arrive.

But after organizers announced the package this year, a sense of imminence gas grown markedly and that’s exactly what is happening in the country’s second largest city.

A number of players trooped to the Kumasi Anglican Senior High School over the weekend to reveal their roster in a stylish statement by displaying decent performances to catch the eye of the selectors.

The maiden edition of the basketball fiesta in Kumasi is likely to bring out all the ingredients of the game – emerging talents, suspense, rivalry, dominance and controversies on the court as a result of some refereeing decision.

But whichever lenses one look at it, the Indomie Community Dunks in the Garden City is one that will excite locals on July 14.
