The finals of the 2011 Indomie Community Dunks will be streamed live beginning 10:00 GMT on Saturday October 1 at the Aviation Social Centre.
Four teams comprising defending champions Kaneshie, Dansoman, Maamobi-Nima and Ashaiman will jostle for the ultimate diadem with huge supporters expected to throng the venue.
This year’s edition has seen some upsets and emerging forces and therefore makes it palpably difficult to stick ones neck to predict the winner.
Kaneshie are eyeing to become the first community in the competition’s history to win the title back-to-back but must first fend off the challenge of Abeiku Sagoes’ Maamobi-Nima.
They have produced some ‘cat and mouse’ games over the past few weeks and will be counting on luck to smile on them for the umpteenth time when they get onto the court. They must overhaul a Nima side that are promising huge power-play and will surely be buoyed by the presence of their travelling supporters.
High-flying Dansoman and Kaneshie meet in the other semi-final clash at the same venue.
