Giant food company Multi-Pro Private is eyeing a mega five–year renewable sponsorship package to help in the promotion of community basketball in Ghana, BASKETBALLghana.com can exclusively reveal.
The landmark deal according to officials if concretized will be the biggest from the highly-rated food company in the West African country since their association with the game over the past four years.
The Tema-based company has played a tremendous role in the resurgence of the game in the country by supporting the growth with products and cash, hence helping the hawking of talents.
Multi-Pro Private Company, producers of the popular and favourite Indomie Instant Noodles has been operating in Ghana for the past six-years and they have confirmed their desire to continue with the sponsorship package of the Under-18 basketball championship with a five-year plan in the pipeline.
“Community Dunks is one of our major brands that we have supported over the past four years and I think we can continue with this project for the next five or so years”. Sales and Marketing head, Manish Goyal revealed to BASKETBALLghana.com exclusively.
“We are very passionate about the game and the fact many young people identify with the game as it continue to grow in leaps and bounds in Ghana”

He added: “We have absolute trust in the talents and ambitions of these players in the communities and we’ll continue to offer our financial support to them by way of continuing with the sponsorship of the event annually”.
The finals of the competition take centre stage on Saturday October 1 at the Aviation Social Centre where champions Kaneshie will attempt their title defence with a semi-final clash against Maamobi-Nima.
Ashaiman and Dansoman will clash in the other semi-final fixture and the winners of both games will play in the finals on the same day.
