The Eastern regional 2011 Milo Junior Ball will take place at the main basketball court of the Koforidua Secondary Technical School (K.S.T.S) on Friday March 25, organizers have confirmed.

The Jackson’s Park which is a central rallying point in the region was billed to host the competition for the first time but some technical challenges means the juvenile basketball players will slug it out at the K.S.T.S basketball court.

‘We were supposed to play the competition at the Jacksons Park but we had some few challenges and so now we’ve settled on the KSTS basketball court which has hosted major competitions in the region in the past’. Eastern regional P.E coordinator Kofi Sarpong Boateng disclosed.

Over fifteen schools have confirmed their participation in the one-day competition with expectations huge on the agenda of crazy basketball fans who will travel from the various corridors of the region to witness the games.

Friday’s event will also be interspersed with music and dance competition, bouncy castle, face painting and many other exciting activities lined up to spice up the occasion.
