Ghana’s National Female basketball team have been dealt with a massive blow after been told there are no funds to take them to Ivory Coast to take part in this year’s All African Games qualifier.
The National Sports Council says there are no cash inflow for the side which has been preparing anxiously for the championship expected to take place next month.
This is not the first time that the side has been faced with such an unfortunate situation as the current scenario continue to heighten the frustration these basketball players feel on yearly basis.
The Ghana Basketball Association claim they’re putting in place alternative plans to ensure the side take part in the qualifiers.
