Ghana’s talent Benjamin Bentsil has arrived in the United States to begin his basketball career with Haverford.
The former player of Cape Coast based Hoops is the 5th Ghanaian who has succeeded in tying a deal with the American college.
A statement on the school’s website read:’ It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of 6′ 8″ Benjamin Bentil of Ghana to the Haverford School this week’
‘Benjamin is excited to be at the school and looks forward to making his mark not only on the court but in the classroom. The future looks bright for this youngster and we are excited to have him in the Runhouse-Hoops Prjoject’. the statement concluded.
The Runhouse-Hoops Project is a joint effort of Runhouse and Cape Coast Hoops that assist West Africans become student/athletes in the United States.
