You may be eating humble pie by now if you thought CYO wasn’t going to be any match for Turbo Jets.

The Burma camp based side were annihilated at the Lebanon court in Friday’s third and fourth place match in the 2010 edition of the Thome Cabalan Championship. The 71-31 victory should sums up an appalling display.

It was a shocking display from Jets who had impressive many in the run up to Friday’s meeting with their counterpart from Adabraka.

Shooting guard Annabel Dsane was the toast of fans with some amazing three-point range goals that killed off the challenge of their opponent.

Point guard Felicia Awuku Sarpong and Patricia Adisanu were at the best for CYO and made their opponent pay for their lackluster approach to the game.

Issuing instruction from the baseline, veteran Mathias Ocloo was at his usual best as he ‘screamed’ from the touchline to his charges despite their healthy lead in the game.

Fans were made to ponder what might have hit Jets who had secured their place after famous victories over Reformers and Magic in the group stages. They may have lost to CEPS at the semi-final stage but their output on the day was not an awful as what they put up on Friday morning at the citadel of basketball in the nation’s capital, Accra.

It was clear fatigue has set as the likes of Ivy Tetteh, Ossah, Grace and Mamuna struggled onto to grapple with the speed and skills of their opponent.
