Following Police’s triumph on Thursday, attention will shift to the women’s division on Friday morning when Christian Youth Organisation (C.Y.O) and Turbo Jets clash for honours in the third and fourth place match in the 2010 Thome Cabalan Championship.
The two teams do battle at the Lebanon court with both teams eyeing to finish with a medal.
Without a shadow of doubt, Turbo Jets have remained the most improved side in the competition after a disappointing campaign in the series.
They’ve looked a transformed side in the memorial tournament after some stellar performances in the group and knockout stages. They accounted for Reformers and Magic in a game many pundits were made to rewrite the scripts.
C.Y.O on the other side of the court has not been overly impressive but Coach Mathias Ocloo’s side has played some delectable basketball.
It is going to be a match of equals and the team with character and attitude might triumph on the day.
