The final two slots in group B of the Thome Cabalan Championship will be decided later on Tuesday when the remaining sides gear up for action at the Lebanon court with eyes firmly gripped on a semi-final berth.

With Tema Youth and Hoops booking their place at next stage of the competition, attention will be shifted to the same venue as CEPS and Magic clash in the day’s cliff hanger.

It is the top of the bill clash at the Lebanon court with veteran and experienced coach Braimah Lawah coming up against his younger and mushrooming talent Francis Wilson in a must win game for both sides.

The home support will be huge for Magic who turned their Lebanon court into the forest zone during the Greater Accra series but will the chants and jeers from their crazy basketball fans be enough to stop the overly impressive CEPS? It’s clearly a huge and daunting task for the former coach of Kinbu and Social Advance Senior high school to grapple with as he fashions out a strategy to neutralize the attacking flair of the 10-time champions.

If the first game lived up to it pre-match, then we expect another eye catching game involving the Fire Service and Police in the final game of the day.

At stake is a ticket to play in the semi-finals of the prestigious Thome Cabalan Championship – a tournament which continues to gain inches in the Ghanaian press and dominate headlines on local radio stations.
