The semi-final pairings in the Thome Cabalan Championship are done and dusted after Hoops and Tema Youth confirmed their stay in the 10-day championship.

Both sides negotiated their respective ties on Monday at the Lebanon court with some intriguing contest that caught the admiration and curled the lips of the fans.

Cyril Clarke a student of  Nandom Senior High School was the chief tormentor for Tema Youth as they beat Reformers 84-73 to triumph on the day and extended their record to 3-1.

The injury to veteran point guard Agbesi didn’t help matters for Reformers as his absence was greatly felt but it was his compatriot Nii Ayi who also shined on the day for his side.

It was business as usual for Hoops who accounted for Warriors 59 – 44 on the final day of competition on Monday.

Both sides advance to the semi-final stage where they await their opponents.
