The annual Thome Halim Cabalan championship takes centre stage from Tuesday August 10-20 with the various teams eager for laurels.
This year’s edition marks the 23rd anniversary of the death of the man who donated the Lebanon court to the Ghana Basketball Association which has helped to develop the game tremendously.
The championship will be fought keenly between the top flight sides in both the male and female division.
Reformers and Holy Family will open the 10-day championship with the first game on Tuesday at the Lebanon court on Tuesday in the male division before Police and Turbo Jets clash in the women’s opener at the same venue.
The final game on the day will see Nima-based Warriors battle Tema Youth in the male’s division.
