The cliff hanger in the Women’s series is on Saturday and that obviously will wrap up an incredible run in the league.
But Cynthia Sosavi of Magic fame stole the headlines in a championship which will be decided on Saturday at the Prison court.
Her breath-taking, free flowing and sublime piece of skills in the championship caught the admiration of the crazy basketball fans who thronged the venue on match days at both the Prison’s court and Lebanon house in Tudu.
She now has a favor to ask all the doubters who questioned her growing maturity and her game before the Greater Accra basketball draft, then raved about her play time during her Social Advance Institute days.
The affable Cynthia, who turns 18, next year, said the questions about her drive her to succeed.
“I go out and play with a chip on my shoulder and try and prove every doubter wrong every time I step on the floor,” she told basketballghana.com in an exclusive interview.
Does she need to grow up a little? Sure. She also understand she is still very young and needs time be become super star.
Cynthia ended the campaign with her team on a sour note on Wednesday when they lost to Holy Family in game that they virtually gave away.
Another good season has ended for her and she’s excited about her prospect and look into the future with huge hopes.
‘It’s been good for us this season. We recorded some pretty good and bad results but am particularly happy because I put up a better performance this year and I’m excited about it and keeping my head above waters for next season’. she concluded.
