Reformers and Turbo Jets battle for survival in the women’s series in the ongoing Greater Accra basketball league on Wednesday afternoon following a topsy turvy display.
Both sides have struggled in the championship so far and will need a win to cushion their point build up in the elite division.
Reformers have lost grounds in the past matches against defending champions CEPS and Police in the past while their opponent have also lost the battle against Police, Magic and CYO in their previous games.
It has therefore set the stage for a must-win encounter for both sides as they fight hard to avoid the drop.
The final game on Wednesday will see Magic pits their strength against Holy Family in another lip smacking encounter.
Magic have been unimpressive at their own backyard this term with their only win in the championship against basement girls Turbo Jets.
They come up a against a Holy Family side which have shown so much promise in the championship – with their only notable defeat coming in the hands of CEPS.
The quality of the game in the women’s division cannot be equated to their male’s counterpart but CEPS have inspired some breath –taking moment in the championship and should be the hot favorite for the ultimate diadem.
