It was a sobering story for Reformers on Thursday when they were weather-beaten 53-15 by the Police Service in the Greater Accra women’s basketball series.
Reformers were no match for their opponent who exhibited sublime piece of skills on the Prisons Court to take the game to them – winning all the four quarters in an amazing style.
It was a ‘de ja vu’ display from the Police ladies who have clearly demonstrated their quest to be title contenders in this year’s league.
The final game on the day saw Custom Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) beat Magic 51-21 in another high profile game.
The defending champions are following in the footprints of the male counterpart to defend the trophy they won last year – and they are looking good for the title.
Meanwhile Hoops forfeited their points following their inability to honour their game against Holy Family on Thursday.
