Meme Falconer’s blistering form in this year’s GUSA basketball games has thrilled the hundreds of fans who have touched base at the University of Ghana main basketball court.
The tall shooting guard for the University of Education (Winneba) could best be described as the ‘father figure’ of this year’s competition.
His amazing skills, great dribbling abilities and fantastic goal prowess have thrown spokes into the eyes of their opponents as they find him difficult to contain. He has emerged as the expert 3point shooter and his performances continue to earn rave reviews in the local media.
His physical presence and height add bite to his great talents and it is obvious that he could pass for any major deal abroad in the predictable future.
He has taken the shine of individual brilliance in the 21st edition of the GUSA basketball tournament.
He inspired the defending champions to complete the double over Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Falconer has proven to be the pivot around which the team revolves and the next couple of days will underline his aptitude to carry the team on his shoulders as they aim to win the title for the second time in a row.
