Thousands of crazy basketball fans from (16) basic schools in Accra will gather at the El-Wak stadium for the second time in a week to witness the final showdown of the 2010 Milo Junior Ball Championship on Saturday.
Last week’s big event has earned massive reviews in the various schools despite the heavy downpour that disrupted the latter stages of the games.
Tomorrow’s final showdown is expected to draw thousands to the venue once again so the young ones can continue from where they left off.
Four schools including defending champions Great Lamptey Mills, Burma camp based Garrison basic, Hoops Care international of Cape Coast and Ghana Lebanon Islamic School (GLISS) will battle it out for a ticket in the grand finale.
Aside the basketball which will draw the main attention at the venue, students will also compete for prizes in singing and dancing competition, chereography among others.
There will also be bouncy castle, lucky dip and face painting for the kids who will flock the stadium. There will also be plenty of Milo to drink from Nestle Milo and Indomie Noodles will provide food for everyone.
Saturday’s funfair will also see fans go away with a lot of souvernirs from the major sponsors.
Milo Junior Ball 2010 is sponsored by MILO – the energy food drink of future champions with support from Indomie, Fan Milk, Voltic, GTV and Joy FM and produced by Rite Multimedia, leaders in basketball development in Ghana.
