Ghana Lebanon Islamic School put their preparations for the upcoming Milo Junior Basketball competition into full gear with a resounding 29-11 win over Association International School in a friendly encounter on Monday.

The circle-based school were impressive and gave a strong indication that the 2010 Milo sponsored basketball championship will be keenly fought.

The young basketball players from GLISS exhibited enough fire power in the three and two pointer zone area of their opponent who had the pleasure of playing infront of their home fans.

But the Islamic oriented school defied the home crowd and displayed some brevity enroute to trounce their opponent by such a wide margin.

The stage is now set for what is expected to be a cagey and an uncompromising tournament at the El-Wak stadium on Saturday March 20 when over 16 baisc schools in the Greater Accra region gather for the much anticipated Milo Junior Ball at the citadel of basketball in the nation’s capital.

The 2010 Milo Junior Ball competition is brought to you by Milo- the energy food drink for future champions and supported by Voltic Mineral water, Indomie Noodle, Fan Milk and DDP. Media partners Joy FM and GTV.
