Adenta Leopards and DC Dynamics’ qualification from Group D completes the list of teams set to compete in the latter stages of the Tema Community Basketball League preseason.
Dubbed the Campaign Tournament, the latter stages will take place on March 12 at the Tema Community 4 Court.
Tema League Champions Nungua Coldstore qualified from Group A alongside Community 2 with last year’s beaten finalist Ashaiman Lions qualifying from Group B alongside Tema Heat.
Group C had Tudu Magic and Ghana Navy qualify to the quarters before DC and Adenta rounded up the elite group. All games in the latter stages including the final game will be played on March 12.
The Tema League 2017 season is expected to tip off later this month with an expanded field from last season’s seven team roster.
Teams from the Accra Basketball League (ABL) heavily represented in the preliminary round with Group D for instance holding four out of five teams. DC and Adenta play in the league.
