The hugely-anticipated Republic Bounz-3 on-3 Basketball Competition goes down at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology between March 20-21.
The two day event will attract the best ballers in Ghana as hell will break loose during the most and hugely attended Republic Hall week celebration at the tertiary level in the country.
Some of the finest basketball talents including Meme Falconer, Feranmi Olulunyo, Dzimatey, Kwame Boamah, Enoch Borsah, McMartey Lawer, Selorm Kuwornu and Nana Osei amongst others will set the venue ablaze with sublime piece of skills and power play.
The intensity is immense with fans expected to have an up close feel of the tournament which has generated massive inches in the Ghanaian press.
It’s a battle of wits, intelligence, strength, skills and dunks to climax the biggest Hall week celebration in the West African country.
Dubbed Repu Bounz 3-on-3, it’s aimed at fostering the passion for basketball and providing a fun event for all. It is the premier hoops event at the tertiary level in Ghana and expected to bring massive excitements to fans.
“The 2015 Repu Bounz 3-on-3 basketball competition is the biggest in Ghana and we’re looking forward to it,” Republic Hall president Mawuse Adiama told basketballghana.com
“This is the height of the one-week celebration and everybody is looking forward to it. Preparations are far advanced and we hope to make it another memorable occasion for everybody.
“Some of the country’s finest players will be on display and that excite many people. Officials are ready and I believe we’ll pull off another remarkable organization.”
The very foundations of KNUST will be shaken and fun will be spelt to the last letter as students from all over the country assemble under one umbrella to party and socialise.
The Repu Hall week celebration is the biggest of all campus festivities in Africa and the White and Green Mongols have packed up exciting and tempting activities to rock from 14th March to 22nd March.
